- durante le riviste, le parate e le esercitazioni era previsto l’armamento di guerra; i capi pezzo dell’artiglieria delle divisioni di fanteria, ad esclusione dei gruppi someggiati e carrellati, vi aggiungevano la sciabola, ma solo durante il servizio a cavallo.

Armament under arms:

Armamento, differenza tra armi da fuoco e armi a ripetizione
Le armi da fuoco sono quelle che utilizzano la forza espansiva dei gas prodotti dalla combustione delle polveri per lanciare a distanza proiettili.
Esse si distinguono, rispetto al servizio ed all’uso, in armi individuali, portate ed impiegate da un solo uomo (fucili, moschetti e pistole) ed in armi collettive, portate ed impiegate da più uomini (mitragliatrici); rispetto al funzionamento: in armi a ripetizione ordinaria, a ripetizione automatica, a ripetizione semiautomatica.
Firearms are those that use the expansive force of the gases produced by the combustion of powders to throw projectiles away.

Le armi a ripetizione ordinaria sono quelle nelle quali, introduzione della cartuccia, scatto ed espulsione del bossolo avvengono manualmente.
Le armi a ripetizione automatica sono quelle nelle quali, dopo avere eseguito il caricamento, aver disposto i vari congegni per la esecuzione del fuoco ed aver provocato lo scatto, le successive operazioni per il proseguimento del tiro avvengono in tutto od in parte automaticamente senza l’intervento dell’azione diretta del tiratore.
Le armi a ripetizione semiautomatica sono quelle nelle quali l’introduzione della cartuccia, l’estrazione e l’espulsione del bossolo avvengono automaticamente, ma il tiro si può effettuare solo colpo per colpo. Fanno eccezione le pistole, che essendo semiautomatiche, conservano la qualifica, entrata nell’uso, di automatiche.

The semi-automatic repetition weapons are those in which the introduction of the cartridge, the extraction and the expulsion of the cartridge case take place automatically, but the shot can be made only by stroke. Exceptions are the pistols, which are semiautomatic, retain the qualification, entry into use, automatic.
