The 1934 model coat, cut into the gray-green castorino cloth, was rather long, double-breasted, closed by two rows of three buttons each of gold-plated metal, silvered for general officers, and was provided with two slit pockets on the sides, closed by horizontal wings; the left one had a horizontal opening under the wing, necessary for the passage of the saber pendants.
The lapel of the coat, open and inverted, was provided with an open buttonhole on the left lapel, so that it could be closed if necessary thanks to a corresponding button sewn under the right lapel; on the lapel were worn only the stars and the frogs of the grenadiers.
The sleeves and back of the coat were quite similar to those described for the old model coat.
