Spostato verso sinistra c’è un fregio composto dalla granata fiammeggiante poggiato a mo’ di fermaglio sul supporto argenteo ad “U” disegnato a squame. Sotto c’è la coccarda di lana tricolore col rosso all’esterno.
The Lucerna da Carabiniere with plume, as a whole. It is made of black felt, with a black ribbon border. It consists of two flaps, the rear high and the lower front, whose bends on the sides encircle the cap.
Moved to the left there is a frieze composed of the flaming grenade, resting like a clasp on the silver “U” shaped scaled support. Below is the tricolor wool rosette with red outside.
La copertura di tela grigia per la Lucerna veniva applicata abbottonando una serio di bottoni di frutto piccoli sulla parte inferiore della falda, quattro per lato. Essa era adoperata con la tenuta da marcia. Il fregio poteva avere anche un’altra fattura, sebbene conservasse la linea della granata.
The gray canvas cover for the Lucerne was applied by buttoning a serious one of small fruit buttons on the lower part of the flap, four on each side. It was used with the gear seal. The frieze could also have another bill, though it retained the garnet line.
Coperto dalla fodera in tela grigio-verde il cappello fu portato dai Carabinieri che presero parte alla 1a Guerra Mondiale – inquadrati nel Reggimento impiegato negli epici attacchi sul monte Podgora, nei plotoni autonomi, e nelle Sezioni – e che procurarono alla Bandiera dell’Arma la prima Medaglia d’Oro al Valor Militare*.
Covered by a gray-green canvas lining, the hat was worn by the Carabinieri who took part in the 1st World War – part of the Regiment used in the epic attacks on Mount Podgora, in the autonomous platoons, and in the Sections – and first Gold Medal for Military Valor.
