Gli Scarponi
Gli stivaletti a gambaletto per sottufficiali e truppa delle armi a piedi del Regio Esercito, furono introdotti dopo la riforma del ’34, Foglio d’Ordini n.237/37.
Si andava a sostituire il precedente modello 1924. Nonostante le numerose leggende metropolitane che si aggirano su questo indumento bisogna dire che era fatto di ottimo cuoio ed erano molto resistenti, venivano dati insieme ad un vaschetta di grasso per mantenerli morbidi.
Per farli durare di piu i scarponcini venivano chiodati.
Il probabile motivo sulla leggenda delle “scarpe di cartone” puo ritenersi dalla cattiva logistica nel fornire ai soldati nuovi indumenti ed è cosi che anche il miglior oggetto al modo puo logorarsi, figuriamoci uno scarpone utilizzato per la guerra.
The boots
We were replacing the previous model 1924. Despite the numerous urban legends that are wandering about this garment it must be said that it was made of excellent leather and they were very resistant, they were given together with a fat tank to keep them soft.
To make them last longer, the boots were bolted.
The probable reason for the legend of the “cardboard shoes” can be considered by the bad logistics in supplying the soldiers with new garments and that is how even the best object in the way can wear out, let alone a boot used for the war.

Basically the most obvious difference is the nails of the boots
